Does faith work?  That’s the question that people are asking - both believer’s and non-believers alike. 

We did something this Easter that has been powerful - maybe the best Easter we’ve ever done.  We started teaching through the book of James, but have added experiments to each teaching to put into practice to examine how faith works.  We then built a web-page people can sign up for when you go to the front page of northwoodchurch.org.  On there you are guided to read through James, to journal, to ask questions, and to interact with others on the web about it, then you do a weekly experiment of putting your faith to work.

No matter where you are in the world, you can be a part of this.  If you’re one of my Buddhist, Muslim, Communist friends - whatever friend you are - you can do this as well.  I know some of you from around the world watch our sermons and follow our ministry.  You can hear each sermon starting Easter Sunday April 4 if you go to the media tab on the front page of northwoodchurch.org and you can click the Sunday.  You can also sign up for the James Experiment on the front page.  So far we’ve talked about what changed James, dealing with trials, and this Sunday is about wisdom for life.
