The past week has been wild.  This week will be very busy too, but not wild, then I go to Syria and Turkey for 9 days.  Some of you know I’m under the pastoral cover of John Jenkins pastor of FBC Glenarden, he’s my hero.  At our pastors covering meeting he invited T D Jakes to come and speak and bring his administrative team.  WOW, was it awesome!  I grabbed a picture with him and Nikki with Trina Jenkins and Soreta Jakes.  Here’s what stood out in my mind:

First, the guy is freakin’ brainy.  He’s an organizational and creative genius.

Second, he loves Jesus - no debate on that - it oozes out of him.

Third, watching him interact with his wife in a small setting was really fun - everybody is so alike.

Fourth, his ability to inspire, challenge, and make you want to live by faith is unparalleled. 

Fifth, his humility was all over the place.

Though different backgrounds, traditions, etc. - he’s a guy I can really have a lot of fun with doing God’s work.
