Connecting for Glocal Transformation

Sleepy in Hanoi!

My time in Melbourne was awesome.  I’m going to write more about it later.  I met some really cool people and spent time with others that I’ve known.  I really enjoyed hanging out with Steve and several leaders from different groups in the city as we discussed city transformation and church planting.  I met with a couple of business dudes also - really neat guys that love God and have a heart for their city and the world.

The highlight was meeting a man from India named Jossy - they’ve started 1100 churches in the past ten years and this year alone will plant over 500 churches in India and 100,000 over the next 20 or 30 years.  He has a very similar philsophy to ours.

I got up early to get back to Hanoi yesterday - we got to Hanoi - 8 hours, 2 hour layover in Ho Chi Minh City, then 2 hours to Hanoi - we were about to land, but the weather was so bad we couldn’t.  So so so , we headed to Danang - waited to get off the plane - but it was determined there wasn’t enough hotel rooms there - - - -so back to Ho Chi Minh city where they dumped us in the terminal with no one to help - it was a mess - but it finally worked out.  I got here a couple of hours ago in Hanoi.  Some meetings tonight, a good run around Lake Kiem in the morning - jump on the plane and head back home - I’m ready.
