Public Schools - One of America’s Greatest Blessings!
Yesterday the Keller Independent School District had their convocation at our church with all their teachers and employees - several thousand were here. Last night I went to pray over a building dedication for Birdville Independent School District for the Center of Technology and Advanced Learning. It made me very very mindful of all that public education has done in America. I know that we have problems, and I know that we need to catch up globally but there are many great things about our public education. There can be no doubt about it - one of the keys that has made America great has been public schools. For every child to be able to be educated is a gift beyond measure. I thank God for all other schools, charter, private, home - whatever. But what has set us apart - has been public education. If we are to be a global leader in the future, it will still be - more than any other form - public education that drives us to excellence.

My wife is a Keller School district teacher, and she was encouraged for two reasons.
1. NorthWood hosted the event and you spoke.
2. She was encouraged to be a part of the public education domain in the name of Christ.
Thanks for hosting and speaking. It made an impact on my wife and her co-workers as they begin their new year.
Blessings,
Brian
