#1 GLOBAL ART INFERNO - BEN ROBERTS!

This week I’m going to highlight people who are using their jobs or influence to be a blessing to others.  I’m going to start with my own son, Ben Roberts.  I’m very proud of him.  He grew up hearing me talk about this, meeting a few people who actually do it and is in the middle of his first business project to help in development.  The focus is on giving a new emerging artist in Vietnam some exposure and even some business. Nikki and I bought one of the paintings.  When Nikki was in Vietnam last month she went by the studio and saw the paintings being done by the artist.  They were excited to get to meet her and she was excited to meet the young painters. 

There are many painters in Hanoi and Vietnam that are very gifted and just want a chance.  They don’t have exposure.  Some of the greatest painting in the world is being done right now in Hanoi.  Though there are some studios that sell commercially there are more painters than the galleries can help.  By using the internet Ben hopes to broaden their market, exposure and income.

These can make great Christmas gifts for only about $50.  When you buy one, you do so knowing that some artist is getting a shot at getting out there and making some money.  Ben has got lots more ideas just from this one project, but, hey Ben, finish this one first!
