OFF to DC
Sorry for not writing much last week - just too busy. I got a book edited, I’m sure I’ll have more to edit on it - but it’s done now, a sermon to write, sheep to shepherd, people to meet with . . . . . just a lot of stuff. This week is also going to be very, very busy. I’ll be in DC with my friend John Jenkins staying at his home a couple of days. We’re going to take in the inauguration together and hang out. I’ll be with some congressmen, etc. I’ll be visiting with some leaders about our work in Vietnam and how people can help.
We had an awesome worship service yesterday. Started a series on the family a couple of weeks ago and instead of taking traditional “family” passages we are taking discipleship passages and relating them to marriage. You can hear it for free at http://www.northwoodchurch.org if you want. John Jenkins will be coming to our church to do a marriage conference in 3 weeks - he’s really good at that and you don’t want to miss it. At the church web-site at http://www.northwoodchurch.org you can hear the sermons, take an on-line assessment of your marriage - do it all as if you were here!
I’ll try to send some pictures on my iphone and have them posted if possible.

We won't be going to DC to the inauguration; we'd probably have to park over here in DE.
