One of my recent new converts in Africa - it was a little difficult getting her baptized, but we did the job!

I am thinking about starting a new series of Jokes now. They will start out: Times you're happy to be a Methodist pastor.

The first one will end with “When you are trying to baptize a giraffe.”

Jambo Pastor - I saw that same lady today. She asked about you! Our kids had a lot of fun feeding the family. Anyway, where can we dialogue about mobilization partnerships between Africa and the US? After you blogged about your meeting in Nairobi, I was inspired to start a weekly discussion group on DNA (transformation) and mission partnership issues, and it has been simply phenomenal. There is a Nigerian mobilizer leading an effort to equip Kenyan churches on "glocal" transformation, and we are bringing him to the US to show me (and anyone interested) how God is using them to mobilize the Majority World church. Interested?
