INCREDIBLE CHRISTMAS SEASON AT NORTHWOOD
Last night Shane and Shane did a concert with Phil Wickham at our church and it was awesome. The week before, we baptized 35 people on Sunday morning. The Friday before, we had an event for those with special needs with an attendance of over 400. The same night we had hundreds come to our petting zoo and manger. This Sunday Carl Medearis is coming to be interviewed in the service and then hold a workshop for how Christians can communicate and share with Muslims - lots, lots, lots, going on and still more to go. We’re planning 2 Christmas Eve services at NorthWood, one at 4 pm and the other at 5:30 pm.
This Sunday I’m preaching on the Kingdom and Sonship in Christ - What does that mean? What does it look like? What are the implications? Too, too, too much material but I couldn’t stop studying - I’m pumped about it.
This is the FIRST day I can remember in months when I haven’t had meetings, appointments, etc., I’m enjoying waking up slowly, moving slowly, drinking coffee - with no agendas!!!
