FUN AND SWEAT IN HANOI
Great prayer, reading Bible, journaling this morning. Then went out and hit my run around lake Hoa Kiem - it’s so hot. I can’t stop sweating after an hour! Had a lot of fun yesterday - finished editing my fourth book - it’ll be out in a few months. Did a lot of reflection and personal organizing.
Last night Nikki and I had supper with Dun, Ti’s parents, Mrs. Nga and her grandson Dzung who’s coming to the US as an exchange students in a couple of weeks to my area. We had a lot of fun. We all laughed telling “Ti” stories (Ti was the exchange student that lived with us a few years). He’s working with Intel and has been in South Africa, Malaysia, and soon Seoul. We are so proud of him. The young man coming kind of looks like him. STEVE FORTENBERRY - you’re going to like this kid - he’s really a keeper. I understand a whole crew of kids will be arriving in the next week from Hanoi to live with many of us.
I leave for Melbourne later today - long flight I’m affraid. I leave HCMC at 9pm tonight and don’t get there until 8:30 am next morning - seems too long, the time change can’t be that long, I hope I misunderstood something! I’ll speak there for a couple of days and then back to Hanoi.
PROSPECTIVE INTERNS AND RESIDENTS - we are reviewing applications - not too late to get one in if you’re interested.
OK, gotta run - Nikki and I are going to ride motorcycles (mopeds) all over Hanoi today. Please pray people that God will speak to her heart and let me buy a BMW 1200 global bike - or that Tim Fleming would just give me his!

I have seen you on a motorcycle before. After Nikki watches your attempt...you are doomed. She won't even let you on a big wheel, my man. You should never had tried this.
