Easter Weekends From A Few Daughter Churches
Guest Blogger: Bobby Vaughn, Church Planting Administrative Director, NorthWood Church
We’ve all heard Bob say that to make a kingdom impact, every church must multiply. As I began opening my email yesterday morning, I began to get reports from some of our daughter churches sharing some of what God did in their churches over the Easter weekend. I was so excited to hear from just a handful of churches and see that there were thousands of lives impacted! We have one daughter church, South Bay Church in San Francisco, pastored by Andy Wood, which is just over one year old that had over 500 people attend with 18 new professions of faith! To another daughter church just a few miles from NorthWood that had well over 3,000! In all, from the 5 churches I heard from (including NorthWood), there were over 10,000 people who heard the Gospel this past weekend! I wonder what the number would look like from all of NorthWood’s 100+ church plants! To all our planters, I just wanted to say how proud we are of all of you. Keep up the great work and keep those emails coming in! We LOVE to hear your stories!
We want to hear your Easter stories, too!
